Meet Melissa Reyes, MS
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Psychology at Wichita State University, located in Wichita, KS in 2015 and recently completed her master’s degree from Bellevue University located in Omaha, NE. Melissa has gained experience with medical assistance therapy for substance use with Spero Health. Melissa also worked at Inspire Counseling working with individuals transitioning from the prison system to the community as well as working with those who were struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. Melissa completed her last graduate semester at the Transformation Center, furthering her experience and gaining new knowledge and experience with eating disorders.
Melissa views mental health as just as important as physical health. Melissa is a native of Puerto Rico and fluent in Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children as well as doing CrossFit, and cooking. Melissa is a U.S Army veteran and has a huge understanding of the importance of mental health that grew due to her service in the military.
