Latasha has worked in elementary and secondary school settings for fifteen years, and in law enforcement for three. She is an Arkansas native but has lived in Memphis for over 30 years. She studied at Grand Canyon University earning her BS in Justices Studies and MS in Professional Counseling. She is an active member of the American Counselor Association, Tennessee Mentorship, and founder of Duchess of Denver, an empowerment group for girls. After completing her practicum at the Transformation Center, she is now practicing as a clinical therapist.
She has been married and parenting for over twenty-five years. Her passion has always been to serve the needs of others through times of uncertainty, by providing self-motivation, self-awareness, and encouragement to gain a place of peace and assurance. Utilizing cognitive, compassion, dialectical, and emotional skills will assist in giving individuals the ability to share and understand the feelings of others.
