Meet Kimberly Rickels, LCSW
Kimberly is the Executive Clinical Director at The Transformation Center in Memphis. She is responsible for oversight of all clinical staff, as well as social work and counseling interns.
Kimberly Rickels is a licensed clinical social worker who began her work as a therapist and social worker in 2000. She completed internships at both UT Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities and The Veteran's Administration Hospital in Memphis. After receiving her MSSW from The University of Tennessee College of Social Work, she implemented the Department of Social Work at The Church Health Center, served as both a therapist and the Director of Clinical Services at Foundation Associates, provided both individual and group therapy to individuals and families at Mid-South Health Systems and Alliance Healthcare Services, and recently held the position of Director of Clinical Services at Crestwyn Behavioral Health Hospital. In addition, she has served as a therapist at Blues City Psychiatry since 2018.
Kimberly's work-related experiences and own life challenges have provided her with a foundation to non-judgmentally meet a person where they are and assist them with achieving their goals. Her professional goal as a therapist is to foster a sound therapeutic rapport/alliance for cultivating wellness and offering hope for achieving peace and well-being for every person. As Executive Clinical Director of The Transformation Center, Kimberly strives to ensure that the clinical team which she oversees will provide exceptional care to all patients.
