Coming together

I don't know if anybody else woke up this morning feeling a sense of being defeated, overwhelmed and numb all at once with our recent local tragedy. One more inexplicably tragic event in the midst of all the other challenges we are surrounded by individually.

I wish I had more words, and perhaps the best think in moments like this is to show up vulnerable and real.

I see it. I'm scared too. I grieve for our neighborhood.

And I believe in the goodness of humanity, the resilience of our community.  I believe there is more love in the world than not, and love is what we need.
